This is my horse Ferris. I love him very much, more than almost anything else (except my husband & parents) in fact. Right now Ferris is sick. He has lost a lot of weight and he is not eating well. The vet, who is very kind, came this evening and gave him a plethora of medications to try to help him feel better. (I am sure this will be costing me a small fortune that I don't have.) Anyway, the results of the blood tests will back tomorrow which should give some indication of what's wrong with him. Hopefully, it will be not too serious and easily treatable. Hopefully. Until I know for sure what's wrong, I will continue feeling very sad and like I am the worst horse mother in the world...
